Add your joy to the map!

Adding to the Map

Using the App:

  1. Download the Ushahidi app.

  2. From the menu, select “Add Deployment” and search “Mapping Trans Joy”

  3. Choose "Submit Survey Response”

  4. Fill out the required fields

    1. Title, Description

  5. Add the location of your site of joy, or select “Use my Location”

  6. Add a relevant photo from your phone

  7. Create and share a video (see sharing video directions)

  8. Use the paper airplane icon to submit!

  9. Moderators will take a look and make your post live

Mobile:

  1. Visit mapping-trans-joy.ushahidi.io/.

  2. Use the + button to add a new post

  3. Fill out the required fields

    1. Title, Description

  4. Add a relevant photo from your phone

  5. Add a video link (see sharing video directions)

  6. Moderators will take a look and make your post live

Sharing Video

Mobile:

  1. Create video on your phone

  2. Visit bit.ly/uploadingtransjoy

  3. Upload File

  4. Fill out name and email address

  5. Select “Upload.” (It might take a few minutes)

  6. Moderators will add your video to the Mapping Trans Joy YouTube channel and update your map point with the link
